Fasteners join Sigma profiles into machine frames, protective enclosures, workstations, beams, and conveyor frames. The product range includes slot nuts, knurled nuts, spring nuts, and square nuts, as well as matching screws and bolts. Corner brackets create right-angled, angled, or multi-sided joints; connection plates support straight, T-shaped, three-sided, and four-sided transitions from the outside. Butt connectors enable end-to-end or concealed connections, while movable joints are intended for adjustable angles and pivoting components.
To find a suitable connection, the profile dimensions, slot width, and specific profile system must first be compared: identical slot specifications alone do not guarantee cross-system compatibility. Thread size, screw length, and head shape must match the nut, the material thickness of the fitting, and the available installation space. Next, joint geometry, direction of force, and required rigidity determine whether an angle bracket, plate, or internal butt connector is appropriate. External fittings remain easily accessible and are suitable for subsequent modifications; concealed solutions keep profile surfaces clear, but depending on the design, may require drilling, face machining, or tool access. For T-nuts, it must also be checked whether they can be inserted from the profile end or added subsequently. Dimensional drawings, assembly instructions, and load data for the respective item are therefore decisive before combining them.
